Anything to look for ? and i know it isn't going to have good mpg but what average MPG is people getting ? Do they feel quick to drive ? i also have a corsa b 1.6 project which is only 106bhp but does feel quick to drive.

Accident damage, often normally poorly repaired - its a 206 & it attracts young drivers who don't have the necessary driving skills that they think they have
A HPI check is worth the money when you find a 206 that you really want to buy.
Proper maintenance is also a good sign of a careful owner.
Avoid anything that's been bastardised.

They drive and handle well but suspension is crashy, they are quick and they shift well if you hammer them. Knocking noises from front suspension, Look for ABS faults as the rings crack. Make sure the timing belt and water pump have been done as it's a very labour intensive job. Display shows between 28-32 MPG average but they do feel like they drink it. Fill it right to the top for about £60 and then refuel when its empty and it doesn't feel so bad because you don't stop every five minutes to put a tenner in.
There are better cars around but for the money you can't complain.
#5: Re: 206 GTI Author: Lex206, Location: HollandPosted: Wed Jul 22, 2015 6:22 am ---- if you already have a corsa b 106hp i woulnt even bother looking for a 138 but look for a 180 straight away.
im sure you can keep up with a 138 already..why not take out the 1.6 and put in a redtop engine though in the corsa??
then you will be faster as a 180 as well..
