1.6 gti vs 2.0 xsi

Hi guys im new to the Peugeot life, I need a bit of advise im looking at two 206 one is the 206 1.6 gti hdi with 72k for £2k
the other one is 206 2.0 xsi hdi 61k for 1.6k
any advise is appreciated

2.0 HDI has proven time & time again that its a bulletproof engine easily capable of 400k + miles if looked after.

The 1.6 HDI is like holding on to a hand grenade with the safety pin removed & your suffering from cramp in your hand.

The 1.6 HDI also has a dual mass flywheel, a FAP filter & electric power steering - any of these going wrong will empty your wallet - there also known to eat turbochargers & then ruin the rest of the engine in the process.

Basically the DV6 1.6 HDI 16 valve is the biggest pile of s**te engine Peugeot ever put in the 206 - avoid at all costs!
