Changing rear silencer myself?

Hi. Just wanted to ask is this a hard job? I think for the price of the part a garage ask a little too much to change them. The only thing is that I don't have anyway of safely jacking it up...but can go up on a kurp and get under with ease. Mine is now noisy and I think the inside has broken down. Eurocarparts have them for £25.

Cheers

Easy job mate .
One clamp & two exhaust rubbers to deal with.
Unbolt the clamp remove it . Take old box off. Hang new exhaust Line up fit clamp DONE .
Park on a kurb should be load of room. Good luck. Get a tin of exhaust putty for the extra tight seal . Few pound halfords

Just changed it...15 min job. Can't believe how much a garage charge for such things. Got the part for £23...if it lasted a year its a bargain. The old one looked okay but was completely rusted inside. Now its much quieter.
