#1: What is the purpose of those small clips on the brakepads? Author: benjohnson22, Posted: Sun Sep 06, 2015 2:08 pm ---- I just changed pads and rotors on my 206. In the process I messed up two of the brakepad "clips". The clips I'm referring to is these small springs/clips at the bottom of the picture here (not my picture)
So one of my pads are now missing the two clips. My question is: Does it matter? What function do they have? If they are important, are there any place I can buy these clips separately?

So as long as I lube/grease the sides on the brake pad, I should get the same effect?
