#1: Changing 1.4 HDi Starter Motor Author: Biggles, Location: YorkshirePosted: Sat Sep 12, 2015 10:47 am ---- The starter motor on my 05 206 1.4 HDi is not working properly. When the engine is hot, it is reluctant to start. You just hear a relay clicking then after some agitation it catches and starts. I have a replacement starter motor but cannot get access to swap it over. With the battery and battery tray removed I can't even see thing. From underneath the drive shaft is blocking access. Has anyone tackled this one and able to provide instructionsn? It looks like a nightmare!
