Not a bad price at all.
Any history of the belt & pump ever been done? If not you can add that cost on top and use it to knock him down a little.

Looks to have good potential. Needs rear lights changing.

Inflate a tyre Smile

and listen to any shudder/knock sounds from cambelt area when engine is cold on a cold morning. My one does it, I'll have to check pulley bearings at some point..

Cambelt should be done every ~50k, and this one is only 57 in total.. Interesting one!

So he tried to sell her after the last MOT, but no-one bought? Smile

Will ask about the belt and yep those lights will be straight into the bin. Nope he's never tried to sell it before I'm the only one that knows it's for sale got till the end of the month to buy it then he's going to advertise it I think. Think I'm for it as a little project and tidy it up and have it on the road some point next year and by then hopefully the insurance won't be as expensive

The n/s/f tyre is probably wrecked .. expect to replace that (and maybe one or more of the others!). Max life of a tyre is about 6 years .. and those low profiles crack in the walls (usually behind the wheel!)

if you can get that wheel pumped up check it moves ok as if its been sitting for that long you may find all the brakes are sized up also check the clutch is working properly

Wow... *jealous!!*
Just the seats and bare wheels would fetch 600£ over here in the Netherlands!

I'd check all rubber components, brakes (might want changing, rust level on discs and fluid) and expect a/c to need some work too...

But I'd go for it Smile

looks like im going to have it by next week got a price of £250 to do the belt and someone crashed into the back of me and its dented in my back quarter panel in, been to two different coach works and both said the insurance will write it off so the person that hit me is buying my car off me for 800 to save there insurance as they've only been driving 2 months so sounded fair enough as i was planning on selling it anyway. Will have a progress thread once i buy it Very Happy
