Standard head unit faulty

#1: Standard head unit faulty Author: bart84, Location: lancashire PostPosted: Thu Nov 12, 2015 2:27 pm
    ----
My standard head unit has decided to stop working.
Worked fine when you start driving, but slowly the volume dies and you are left in silence!
I had checked connections to unit, and aerial connections and all seemed fine.
Only after I swapped the head unit for an aftermarket one did I confirm that it was the unit itself thats at fault
I am wanting to keep the car original so would like to know if its possible (and worth the money) to get it repaired or has anyone got a spare they are willing to part with?
Its a 2001, (curved face unit) with built in boot changer if that helps?
Cheers
Rob
