206 Accident damage

Hello All,

Had a knock over the weekend and I will need to have a rough price up so I know if the 206 is worth keeping. I was wondering can sense check my thinking?

Hears a picture imgur.com/byv4NOS

The car still drives, but the steering is slightly to the left. Family friend who is a mechanic checked it over and was happy that it was safe to drive the 100 odd miles home.

Will take it to the garage for inspection, I assume the steering rod would need replacing at the minimum and tracking done? £50 for steering rod including labour and £50 for the tracking, does this sound realistic?

Cosmetically the Front bumper (£60), Front Grill (£30) , Drivers side front wing £40 , Drivers side repeater £5, plus £50 for required tools. Cost for mainly used parts, I can live with a dent in the door. Looking at the guides I think I could fit it myself. If I couldn't how much would a body shop charge for labour for fitting the above? Any forum members offer this kind of service, willing to travel within London maybe a bit further out.

I assume it will best to investigate the steering issue then sort out the body work?

As you say get a price to get the mechanics fixed first

Swapping the parts should be relatively cheap. Your family friend mechanic should be able to do this easily especially as I am fairly certain that the 206 wings are bolted on so don't even need a welder.
