#1: Damp smell but not obvious where it's coming from...? Author: LiamS, Posted: Mon Dec 14, 2015 5:47 am ---- This happened to me last winter as well, but the problem resolved itself when the weather warmed up again... I've got an issue with a nasty damp smell when entering the car.
Gave the AC a long, hot blast yesterday evening, also disinfected the mats + cleaned the seats with upholstery cleaner... opened the door this morning, still smells.
I've checked around the door and window frames, there's no mould or anything...
I have noticed that my driver's side door seal has split where the latch is, and the front passenger door seal is wearing around the latch area, however, it's totally dry and clean around there too... I haven't noticed any water leaking in or anything, nothing inside the car is wet.
Is there anywhere else I should be looking?

Didn't smell of anything in particular
I'll order a new one anyway, see if that does anything
