#1: MFD garbled screen? Author: panther12, Posted: Tue Dec 22, 2015 4:43 am ---- I have a 2005 206 1.1 which doesn't get used much. I started it up yesterday for the 1st time in a few weeks (starts 1st turn of key). I left it idling for a while to defog windows and the multifunction display screen was working perfectly but when I came back to car the MFD was all garbled and missing some of the characters. Gave it a tap and ign off-on a few times but still a scrambled screen. Was going to have a look at it today but it's working perfect again. Just wondered if the intermittent working / not working is a sign that it's about to go and I need to look out for another one?

It isn't hard to open up and remove the boards and a quick dab of solder fixed ours ... did it about two years ago and still working fine.
