#1: Cover for Headlight area lost Author: jos00334 PostPosted: Sun Jan 03, 2016 2:54 pm

Hi All,

I have somehow lost the plastic cover that protects the wiring and bulbs etc behind the headlights on the passenger side. Not sure how i did it must have been after a change.

Does anyone know how to get another of these? I can't find these on any parts site yet?

Thanks you!

Sorry just in case needed, it is a 2005 1.1 Petrol 206. Thanks!

Is this the piece you're after? www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Peu...xynwlTdMhO
If so, your best bet is going to a breakers yard or order one off someone breaking a 206 on ebay as it'll be cheaper

Yeah that's the one. I need passenger as well and think that is £40 off eBay! Crazy money. Was wondering if any normal stores might stock that?

It really is silly money. I don't think any stores will stock the covers. I mean you could try your local peugeot dealerships parts department. No idea if they'd stock something that small for a model that was discontinued 7 years ago though

Go to your local scrappy but call a few first. Most parts are very cheap.

The covers have never been available as a spare part even when the 206 was a current production model.

Scrap yard won't sell it unless you buy the complete headlamp.

You will need to find a damaged headlamp with a good cover.

My scrapyard would definitely sell it on its own and would probably charge about £1 or £2

Thanks for the offer! I'm on Hertforshire / Bucks border nearest towns are Chesham and Hemel Hempstead.

If you've got the cover which I need they aren't too heavy (if i remember correctly!) I'll happily pay you and the postage.

Do you think you will have the passenger side one spare?

I'm back near my garage only next week. If you can wait, I'll give it a dig:) Pretty sure there's a passenger one extra
