#1: GTI Spring Festival pics Author: Ross, Location: West MidlandsPosted: Wed Apr 14, 2010 2:22 pm ---- Thought I'd post up some pictures of the show that was on last weekend. Had a decent day out and also lost my Santa Pod virginity as it was my first time there, long overdue.
Watched the Fireforce jet car go up the strip aswell.... ridiculous, 5.8 seconds quarter mile, and nearly two burst ear drums for me I think, it actually hurt it was that loud.
Pics...
There was a lad there with an old Merc on wires and hydraulics, he had drawn a little crowd, playing about with the suspension, I then heard a bang, and he drove the car to the side out of the way with the rear raised in the air and the front slammed, leaving a trail of what looked like hydraulic fluid behind him... felt sorry for him, was pretty cool though, wish I could have seen more of it in action! Made me wonder how reliable hydraulic suspension is.
