#1: Do I need a timing belt cover? Author: MadDirtMonkey, Location: LincolnshirePosted: Sat Jan 23, 2016 2:40 pm ---- Hey guys - go easy on me, it's my first post
I recently bought my first car: a 5dr 206 GLX (1.6L 16v) and love it to bits, but I noticed the other day that I don't have a timing belt cover. Naturally I went for a trip to the breakers today and must have looked through about 7 different 206's none of which seem to have timing belt covers. I assumed that all cars had timing belt covers but now I'm doubting myself and have started wondering - do 206's even have timing belt covers? If so, why are they so rare? Do they fall off easily or is it something else?
If anybody could shed some light it would be greatly appreciated!
Cheers,
MDM

So there's not supposed to be a cover over that auxiliary drive belt?
