#1: HELP!!! Author: Thehound84, Posted: Sun Feb 28, 2016 3:53 am ---- Rear axle, drum with abs..
I'm repairing the trailing arm bearings, have the axle off car, anti roll bar is out, can't budge the torsion bar at all, have tried the washer trick didn't work, tried blocks with a jack in between to push the arm off, no luck, beat the hell out of it with a big hammer all day, no joy, I don't have a slide hammer but I just know it won't work.. I was thinking of investing in a porta power but I'd only use it once, anyone have any idea apart from tying it to a tree and hooking the other end to a toe bar, should I cut it out?

By the time play is noticed / found in the bearings. The damage to the stub axles has already been done.
