Headlight remains on and turn signal won't work
-> 206 Problems

#1: Headlight remains on and turn signal won't work Author: relliyan PostPosted: Mon Mar 14, 2016 11:31 pm

Hi, i had a problem with my 2002 206 this morning, while i was driving the dashboard lights would suddenly come on and my headlights and my wipers started.
The most annoying thing is that my turn signals didn't work and when I turn off the car, the headlights remained on, I had to disconnect the battery wait several minutes then put it back on...

Last year I had the same problem for a week or two on and off, then it seemed to go away by itself...

Could someone help me to get an idea on whats happening?
Thanks

Normal symptoms of a com2000 failing. They can be repaired but easier to buy a new one.

I'll check on that and give an update asap.

Thanks

BSI unit has gone in to downgrade protection mode.

Stick it on Peugeot Planet & see what faults are flagged / stored.

I would suspect a global scan will show Com2000 = presences of faults.
