Replaced door now more problems!

A few months back someone smashed into the side of my car so had to jog the pillar and swap some panels. All sorted now but the only door I could get at the time was off an older model, now I've realized my interior light isn't coming on when it opens and none of the alarms go off when I open it like if the lights are on ote the keys are on. All work fine with rest off doors so I've put it down to the sensor on the door.
Just not sure if there's a rocker switch style one on the door or an actual sensor on the latch, anyone know?
Also thought it could be that the old models had rocker style and new have sensors?

Sensor is built in to door latch.

Make sure the correct spec door latch is fitted - normal central locking OR deadlocking spec.

Wiring loom could also be different inside the replacement door.

Yeah I thought it'd be a sensor, just my luck!
Everything else on the door works perfect including central locking, I sapped the loom over for one on my original door along with handles and loom.
Do you think it needs a new latch?

Just swop the latch with the one from your original door.
