#1: ABS modulator help Author: Pugpug77, Location: GlasgowPosted: Wed Apr 20, 2016 10:27 am ---- Hi I've had an ABS light on the dash of our 206 1.4 manual petrol car I've had the code read today and it indicates the modulator as the problem now from reading online I'am guessing I need to replace the pump and ABS ECU? so I'am also assuming that it will need to be identical in part numbers too?
This is turning into a costly little car

The ecu part of the module has a part number that is really difficult to match with a second hand part and the ones I do find are crazy money!

There will be a switch yo the left of the passenger airbag disarm keyswitch marked ESP if you have it fitted.
It would have been an optional extra when your car was built.
OR send me the VIN via PM & ill have a look on Peugeot Service box to see which ABS system is fitted.
