Replace trailing arm bearings.
-> 206 Problems

#1: Replace trailing arm bearings. Author: mcfly666, Location: Devon PostPosted: Tue Apr 26, 2016 2:41 pm

I've done this job before on my old 206 derv. But a lady friend of mine has just been diagnosed with rear bearing play on her 1.4 glx.

She has been advised to scrap the car when the mot comes...

The question is, are they worth doing DIY? I've replaced one on a previous car, but did not keep the car long enough to see if it was a long repair.

I presume as long as the stub that goes through the trailing arm is in good condition, I don't see why not as I think I paid 15 quid or so for a new inner/out bearing.

Thanks
