Take it the trailing arms are stuffed on the CC?

95,000 I guess is a good run.

New recon axle or new arms?

IMAxles: anyone tried them?

Anyone replaced a CC rear axle assembly? How long does it take? I take it the CC body strengthing bars have to come off?

Should I consider replacing anything else? Hub bearings, etc? I'll probably fing new rear brake hoses as fronts are about to be done too.

So so far I've established it takes about 6 hours (Autobook) and the strengthening bars do have to come off but don't expect them to come quietly ..

Hubs should pull off with bearings with puller ..

Anything else?

I may just kill the credit card and take it to my local garage .. weighting up my time (which I have precious little spare at the moment) and inconvenience to daughter if the damn thing refuses to come off easily .. or I fook something ..
