#1: Central Locking Author: zorro180, Location: Bognor RegisPosted: Wed May 25, 2016 2:55 am ---- Hi Guys, I have just acquired a 206 GT Grand Tourisme, my central locking is playing up. Every time i lock the car with the remote key it automatically unlocks and will not stay locked, this happens with all the keys. Any ideas guys

One method 'I've seen mentioned here: unplug one at a time and see if the ones still connected then work correctly.

Sometimes the button on the door that contains the dead solenoid don't move when the key fob is pressed, although not an entirely reliable method of seeing which has gone.

Yes the tailgate one can go.

Remove the door cards and then you get access to the inner workings of the door and can get to the solenoids.
Tailgate one is simply the panel on the inside of the tailgate. It just pops off with a bit of pulling.
