2006 206 Verve 1.4 8V -- Engine Management light on

Hi all,
as per subject line, really; the missus was driving our little Pug home tonight and the engine management light came on. It's constant and the car seems otherwise to be running ok.

Thinking cat or lambda sensor -- been hearing a rattle more and more frequently from the exhaust on the overrun -- what say you peeps?

Sorry if this is a noobish question, but did do a bit of a trawl and many of the images in the FAQ seem to be missing Sad

Cheers!

Scan if for fault codes, the diagnostic warning lights on so there will be fault codes stored in the ecu memory.

Bah, don't currently have a scanner. Got an old ELM Bluetooth thing here somewhere which I had for my Audi, but no software. Recommendations?

Thanks for the super-quick reply, btw Smile

Peugeot Planet would be the best all round diagnostic solution for it.

BUT any EOBD code reader should pull engine related fault codes from the memory.
