#1: Dreaded rear axle? Author: David1156, Location: East LondonPosted: Sat Jul 09, 2016 7:23 pm ---- There's a groaning noise coming from the back of the 206 when braking. It's not heard at low speeds but once you're over 15 mph and you brake, it's heard.
The trailing arm bearings were replaced a few months ago but i'm guessing they were just a quick fix and that the rear axle needs replacing. Can anyone confirm if this is true?
