#1: Can't program immo chip PP2000, and mileage correction? Author: wildatsun, Posted: Sat Jul 16, 2016 3:17 pm ---- Hi folks, I bought a 2003 1.1 (HFX) car with 46,000 miles from the salvage auction thinking it would be a relatively easy fix (front wishbone, strut, wing, door, airbags, seatbelts, module.
All that stuff is now sorted (sill still a bit bent!) however the car had no key with it. I managed to get the blade cut so the locks are working , I bought a new ID46 chip from Ebay but I am struggling to get PP2000 to add it to the car. I have the 4 digit code.
To make matters worse I tried another BSI/ECU,chip from a spares car I have sat here and while it started and drove fine, the speedo didn't work, I now realise this is probably because the donor BSI was from a car with ABS so it was expecting wheel sensor signals rather than gearbox sensor, and sure enough the donor car gearbox has no speed sensor on it by the look of it.
So I am back to my original BSI, but the mileage from the donor car (70K) is still displaying on my dash, do you think the dash has transmitted the mileage back to my old BSI? or will getting the dash corrected be enough? (If I can find somewhere, again anyone on here able to do this?)
Thanks folks, hoping I did the right thing by tryhing to save a 206 from the crusher but I am pulling my hair out!

The higher mileage will now be stored in your original BSI unit & speedo.

Author: Timon2210, Location: PalestinePosted: Tue Jul 19, 2016 1:08 pm ---- You need to find someone who can lower the mileage back to the one you had before you swap the BSI from a donor car, google it,as I doubt that there is any guy here do such a service.
Also are you sure it's the original BSI fitted, maybe the 4 digits you have according to the car VIN is not the correct ones,as it's not the same BSI from factory!!!
If you are looking for a side wing mirror,I have an electrical one, same color as your car is excellent condition if you would like to buy it.
Good Luck
