#1: Air con absolutely stinks!!! Author: smell, Location: HullPosted: Thu Apr 15, 2010 10:30 am ---- Everytime i turn my Air con on it is horrible, i can hardley breath
So firstly i checked to see if i had a dead body in the car, but there was nothing.
Secondly i checked my pollen filter and it was fine except for a dead spider!
Thirdly i checked my air filter and that was fine "/
Could anyone suggest what it maybe or if there's anything i could do?

use the cleaner, then recharge, easy to use,

The smell is caused by a fungal bacteria living in the system. A cleaning canister which you set off in the car whilst the aircon is on usually sorts it out. It acts like a smoke canister and kills off the bacteria.

Smells like a tramps pants, i have to open the window for like 15 mins, either that or die! i just assumed something like a filter had gotten damp.
Where would i get a 'cleaning canister' from.
