#1: Peugeot 206 GTI (130) Brake Servo / Booster Author: Seanie280672, Posted: Sat Aug 06, 2016 6:53 pm ---- Hi, just a quick question, my brake servo is leaking air and has been for a while, its coming up for MOT soon so I need to get it changed quite quickly, the part number for the servo is 4535 T6.
My car is a Peugeot 206 GTI 2003, ive managed to get the brake servo and master cylinder off a 2001 GTI, the numbers on the sticker on the servo dont match, except the size 5 but im not sure what these numbers are for (03-7864.4401.4) im quite confident at fitting it myself as I am quite good with mechanics, however, will this servo work OK as a replacement, looks the same, same size, same fittings, ABS etc ?
I'll remove the master (only 2 x 13mm bolts) and pull to one side so I dont need to bleed, then its just a case of removing the securing pin and 4 blots behind the glove box as well as the battery and battery box to get it out.

the masters look exactly the same too, same fittings, same pipes etc, if need be, I could always just fit the master that came with the part I brought.
ive just got the details off the servo I want to fit, the numbers are 03.7762.5301.4, googling this relates to a Peugeot 206 GTI 2001, and the one currently fitted is 03-7864.4401.4 which is a Peugeot 206 GTI 2003, its the 135 version not the 180.
I recently found out from my mechanic that pugeot are a bit of a nightmare for parts, the reason there are so many variants is they buy parts for their cars closest to them at the time, instead of getting the same part from other versions shipped to them.

The hardest part in all honesty was removing the pin under the glove box with connects the back of the servo to the brake pedal arm.
