#1: temp faulty Author: harvey, Location: birminghamPosted: Sun Oct 09, 2016 4:22 pm ---- hi I have a Peugeot 206 1.4 2003 when I start the car the temp sensor is reading 100 and the stop sign flashing and the fan is on also eml light is on the heaters are blowing hot air can any one shed some light on this

#6: Re: temp faulty Author: wxw06, Posted: Wed Oct 19, 2016 6:51 pm ---- I would look for either a bad ground, or a break in your thermistor wiring (wiring from the thermistor to the ECU). Get up a multimeter, follow the 3-minute rule when disconnecting the battery, and start measuring up wires to see where it's fishy.
You can also try to disconnect the sensor altogether and see which reading you then get.
