I know there are many stereo topics on here and I have had a look through them and nothing has solved the problem. This has been a problem for a while and I have now given up in trying to work out what the problem is. I hope you can help!
Usual problem, every time I turn off the engine the stereo resets its self losing all settings, stations etc... I guess it's just that it doesn't have constant power... problem is which cable is it!
Who ever had the car before me seems to have butchered round back and I'm left with the aftermath. So if someone could please help me!!!

I have already tried switching red and yellow.

You are going to have to break out the multimeter to find out which wires are perm live and which are switched. But all we did was switch red & yellow in that adapter block.

The adaptor is new, I meant the cables from the last picture. I cant seem to find where they go or what they should have been connected too. But they was cut for some reason.
I have tried swapping red & yellow but I didnt have any look. Very strange Thanks though

Aftermarket HU's and many cars typically have switched and constant on pins 4 and 7 (though which is which varies, thus the connectors on the red & yellow wires on the HU Harness so it's easy to change them over.
According to my handbook, my multiplexed 206 has constant power on pin 7 and switched (not direct key but BSI controlled so comes on as you unlock and remains a bit after you turn off the car) on pin 6. Ground on pin 8.
Peugeot sells an adapter that transforms the car's ISO block into a more 'standard' ISO block layout, as well as isolates the wires of the messaging bus from the aftermarket HU.

My car is pre-plexed and I am struggling to find any key information. All the threads on here are from years back and the images showing what to do are all broken links now. Any ideas which fuse F24A is?

A/B is just a matter of shifting it 'a half position' up/down
There should be numbers cast in the plastic at the fuse positions, which can be faintly seen in this pic or this one (a little clearer) if one zooms in...
Looks like 24 is he blue 15A fuse spanning row 2 and row 3 in the pics

Yup, that's the one I believe it is. I believe it's shown in the 'alternate' position, with normal position being in row 3 - but check for the numbers in the plastic...

Hey mtempsch! I managed to get it working thanks to your help. I greatly appreciate it! It was the fuse, I moved it over to F24B position and powered it. Still the same... So I swapped the red and yellow over and ay presto!!!
