#1: Changing stereos Author: Sofa.King.Happy, Posted: Tue Dec 27, 2016 4:00 pm ---- Hi!
Currently I have this Blaupunkt stereo in my 2000 year 206 (this) and I'd like to know if Clarion (this) stereo (or any other oem stereo) fits into my car? Thank you all.

Multiplexed OEM units are VIN coded & your non plexed 206 doesnt support that feature, unless you fancy BEEP screaming out the speakers every few seconds.

By the way, is this Blaupunk I have is the only pre-plexed OEM stereo? Because it's crap. Are there any ways fixing its self-volume adjustment (especially driving on poor roads) and so the buttons work well (I press 2 and it gives me 4)?

#5: Re: Changing stereos Author: Sofa.King.Happy, Posted: Thu Dec 29, 2016 9:59 pm ---- No, you got me wrong. By saying auto-volume I mean volume changes when I, for example, hit a pothole. I know its common with this stereo, right?
Is there any way fixing this?
