#1: Thunk / Knock on steering at 180 Degrees - Right + Left Author: Muddytoast, Posted: Wed Feb 01, 2017 9:10 am ---- I have a thunk/knock on the steering when turning the wheel 180 degrees either way, the car is on 75K and the garage did mention previously that there was a little play in the steering.
(Edit - Sorry it's an old T reg)
In all honesty we are trying to keep the car going for only a while longer (hopefully till July MOT date) then probably will be looking to replace it.
(I believe it's going to need a back box replaced at MOT too)
A - Any ideas what this is? New Rack? Loose Pinch bolts etc
B - What sort of cost would you imagine for rectifying this?
Thanks for your thoughts + time.
