Bsi procedure?

Hi, i think i may have sorted my battery problem but when i disconnected the battery i didnt leave my driver window down. When i reconnect the battery do i have to follow the bsi procedure? Its an s reg 206 xs.

FWIW, I've never bothered and never had an issue (don't blame me if you blow up the BSI though).
If you want to play it safe, stick a body inside the car, doors shut, while 2nd person connects the battery. Wait the recommended time and then the person inside turns on the side lights...
