can anyone help got the above every now and then it will not start (it will turn over but imobiliser is holding off fuel )
garage has replaced crank sensor and temp sensor when it will not start .there is no faults when computer plugged in but it does go blank when it doesnt start
they have told me it could be BSI (also done factory reset ) or ECu but not sure.

one thing that was noted when you turn on ignition if temperature guage needle does not move slightly then we know it will not start

does anyone have have ideas or had similar problem

1.4hdi don't have a lift pump.

Its not letting its fuel back to the tank is it? have you tried pumped the grenade prior to trying to start the car?

Or could it be the usual holes in the fuel pipe caused by vibrations on the engine.
