Power Steering Hose leak
-> 206 Problems

Hi
My 206 1.6 leaks fluid from the middle of the rubber PAS hose. It is crimped at each end on to the metal pipe. If I get a new hose from Pirtek , how easy/difficult is it to crimp it on to the pipe ?
I have to destroy the hose to get it off to take to Pirtek, and will therefore be without transport.(Pirtek won't do it)

Tia

The hoses can be removed from the car. The subframe might need lowering to provide access to the steering rack.

Thx Edward.
The pipes run across the top just behind the rad, I was hoping just the rubber hose could be replaced but it looks as though the whole of the pipe will have to be replaced.
