No Heater / Blower - Loose wiring on Ignition Switch?

#1: No Heater / Blower - Loose wiring on Ignition Switch? Author: daddydigdoug PostPosted: Tue Mar 27, 2018 7:17 pm

Hello,

Peugeot 206 LX 2002 Plate

I have gone the last month without my air blower / heating system (tough times but always been safe and cleared windows etc.) but I have just started the car and the blower / heating system kicked in.

I did some tweaking and discovered somehow it's my ignition that's will or will not make it work.

If I start my car normally now it may or may not kick in but If it doesn't twith a little wiggle of my ignition key it kicks in (not everytime though) Shocked

Is the Air Blower / Heater system linked directly to my ignition somewhere?

Can I check the wiring / fix problem easily?

I have electrical tested every part of the system including fuses, resistor and blower individually and all fine which also strengthens the belief it's a wiring / loose connection somewhere.

Any help or info on this matter would greatly appreciated and thank you in advance Very Happy
