#1: Steering wheel Author: akaMaverick, Posted: Sat Apr 07, 2018 4:54 pm ---- Ok, so I goofed... went and bought a newer, better condition steering wheel for my gti without checking, so my current wheel is pre-Plex and has 2 screws holding airbag on, new wheel has clip on type airbag... can I still fit this if I get a clip on airbag or are the connecters different as well ? Really don't want to splurge more cash if it ain't gonna work.

For a start a multiplexed 206 drivers airbag has 2 electrical connectors as it has 2 explosive charges built in being a dual stage airbag.
Get the correct steering wheel for your car & reuse your original airbag.
