#1: Seat change question Author: quietly_myself, Posted: Tue Aug 07, 2018 4:02 pm ---- The driver-side seat in my 3-door 206 is broken (back can’t be adjusted) so I’m considering replacing it. Found one on eBay that is the right colour and, crucially, from a 3-door model. The only problem being that it’s from the passenger side.
Does that matter? Is there any difference between the driver and passenger side seats? They look the same in my car and I can’t see why they wouldn’t be interchangeable.

Thoughts?
Side airbag?

One thing. Some passenger seats don't have height adjustment fitted, if it does then the handle will be on wrong side.
#4: Re: Seat change question Author: quietly_myself, Posted: Wed Aug 08, 2018 7:30 am ---- There are no airbags in my seats. Don’t believe there are any in the one I’m looking at on eBay either (certainly isn’t listed as having them). My current driver’s seat doesn’t have height adjustment, so if the replacement does it would be a bonus!
Just another thought - has anyone ever tried repairing a seat with broken back adjustment on a 206? Is it likely to be feasible?

I've had 206 seats apart in past - more hassle then it's worth.

Driver seat : the fixing points are spaced by 31.5 cm on the right rail and 29 cm on the left rail
Passenger seat : the opposite of driver seat : 29 cm on the right and 31.5 cm on the left !
Because of centering points !
A picture to explain that :
But I don't know if right rail's holes are the same for the left rail !

That’s what I thought

Good point.
Decided to wait for a driver’s side seat to come up instead.
Thanks for the input everyone

Just got a Driver’s-side seat. Right upholstery and everything.
