Drive belt screaming, have replaced Drive belt with 6PK1575
Replaced Idler pulley
Replaced Belt Tensioner Serpentine Belt DAYCO APV2547
I can’t find the diagram for the serpentine belt for the 1.6l. All I can find is the 1.4l & 2.0l. My configuration does not match either. I’m at a loss
I have linked a pic to describe why i'm perplexed!
Please help
Thank you in advance!

Autodata gives this routing for your full fat setup (I can't look up on mines as it currently has electronic PAS conversion):
This is the tensioner layout and part numbers for your 1.6 16v (you can see the length of the belt is 1560mm):
Good luck with the squealy pig problem and keep us posted! Last edited by Sim on Sun Nov 25, 2018 8:40 am; edited 1 time in total

You have helped me enormously, I think who ever had fixed this car previously had followed a lot of other 3rd part sites and parts distributors, which list the 1575mm belt!
Replaced the idler pulley and tensioner assembly - new belt at 1560mm!
No longer a squealy pig, but purring lion!
I will get myself organised will pics and details now I know about this forum
