#1: updates on the sport! Author: Projectsport, Location: Kent PostPosted: Tue Jul 02, 2019 8:40 pm
    ----
so i've dropped off the grid since the car returned... my bad!
she's been having some maintainance done to areas untouched during her huge overhaul.
i've always had an axle rattle, we've spent many hours under the car jumping on it and all sorts trying to source this poxy rattle... turned out that the bolt holding the end plate on wasnt very tight, proceeded to pop out a few bolts before we loctited one in, seams to have solved it!
also i have had an irritating ABS light due to not having the correct MC for the ECU. (used the 1.4 MC, which didn't support the BPS, solution= get a 180 MC.) at the same time the braided brake lines were fitted, new pads all round due to a sticky calliper causing excessive wear on the rear, also fitted new callipers.
whole cars finally had its summer detail, 3 stage polish, full paint correction and restore, and i'm now starting on a few new little projects following PugFest.

i've wanted to do Carbon Fibre skinning for a long time and i've finally bitten the bullet, got the stuff and i'm now doing my fuel cap a little bit different to the usual... will upload photos eventually!
door cards been retrimmed, to show off the new *without a dent* door! now down to 2 panels to sort, drivers door and rear arch.
roof is going black soon, wheels getting a refurb and colour change and if the carbon fibre skinning goes well i may look into doing the center console and wing mirror caps to match in!
my suspension has been unhappy for a little while however the roads to pugfest have officially brought on the beginning of the end... squelch squelch squelch... so Stance+ coilovers will be getting a purchase very soon!

also thank you guys for the photos from pugfest! i'm shocked at how much attention it's getting recently and not just in the peugeot scene!

i'll try stay in the loop a little more now that everything's falling back together!
