And pretty sure that bodge illegal in UK ..

#7: Re: side ligshts not coming on but come on with head light Author: harry400, Posted: Mon Feb 24, 2020 5:51 pm ---- i suppose like me i only put the head lights when out at night so never looked like it was a problem with all the lights working the person that had it before me must have lost all the side and back lights and with the way the electrics on these cars work it was the easy way out and trying to find a wiring diagram for it that match this car is not easy i am old school 60s and 70s (battery wire switch wire bulb)its not a problem now so will sort it properly when the weather gets better
#8: Re: side ligshts not coming on but come on with head light Author: gazza82, Location: South BucksPosted: Mon Feb 24, 2020 6:04 pm ---- I tried to replace the rear brake light with an LED unit on the daughter's old CC and everytime I shut the bonnet the light stopped working .. the cable was a tad too short so it pulled and unplugged itself from the loom .. so we refitted the old one with most of the bulbs dead .. still passed the mot oddly!!
Which reminds me .. must sell that CC LED rear brake light .. it's gathering dust in the garage ..
