#1: Engine warning light Author: MrChaz, Posted: Sat Nov 14, 2020 1:39 pm ---- My daughter has just got a 52 plate 206 1.4 with only 17500 miles on it. While carrying out a coolant flush I noticed the engine warning light was on. I plugged in my bluethooth code reader and that said that there were no codes stored so I bought a cheap streetwize unit from euro car parts but that won't communicate and I keep getting a 'LINK ERROR' message which means something is stopping it from communicating. Does anyone know what the comms issues could be?

Have you tried borrowing another 206 to see if your device will read codes off that?
I appreciate that might not be useful, however, it's well known that Peugeot Planet and a Lexia cable is really the only correct way to read codes from the car. There's a few Pug Planet owners maps around, it might be worth getting someone to come and see how they fare!
