#1: 2004 206 1.1 Oil filter woes (leaking after "service"). Author: Solvalou PostPosted: Sun Apr 18, 2021 3:00 pm

Hi there.

I am in dire need of help. But it will take some explaining.

I have serviced my friend's 206 1.1 once before last year and it went well other than the oil filter he was supplied was the wrong one (the one supplied had a straw attached to it), so we ended up just reusing the one we took out and that went fine.

However today we did another service, we used Peugeot directly to get the parts and everything fitted okay but while we was working on the oil filter and removed the cap we spotted a spring on the ground (see picture). On top of that there was a lose bit of round plastic.

Basically I need to know what what the order it is they are supposed to go and critically where the spring goes. As currently it's absolutely p*ssing out oil shortly after starting the engine.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks in advance.
