I have a Peugeot 206cc. My fan kicks in around 110 degrees. Is this normal ?

Sounds normal! Should bring temp right down to 90 or below when it kicks in, if not check coolant - maybe bleed the system.

I don't think so.
110 deg sounds way too high for the fan to kick-in. Mine goes into 'high-speed' frenzy at that temp (happened when normal-speed fan relay packed-up).

Usually 96 degrees is the highest my temp-gauge will ever read (even on blistering hot days over here), by that time the fan has already kicked-in.

So it might be worth checking the low-speed fan relay located behind the front radiator grill.
