Pugfest, finally! 'twas great to see those faces and facelifts again:)

Andrew said he'll be there too, so we decided to convoy up en route to Prescott Hill.

He left me guessing which car he'll be in; last thing I heard months ago that his 206 project hadn't been shipshape, and the busy summer of a dayjob detailer would probably see him in his Citroën work van. To my delight, it was the 206 that showed up!

Sadly we broke the years' long rendezvous tradition of loitering McBreakfast parking lots, instead we found a Tesla supercharger to hog;) Need to keep up with the times I guess Confused

The weather left much to be desired, and we took the scenic route avoiding motorways and keeping low speeds, to reduce the spray on Andrew's prepped car.

Once there, he cheerfully parked at the Pug1Off stand.

Impressive mods to say the least, he certainly put money where throattle [sic] bodies are, and then some!

Since one can't easily modify a GTi 180 lump, there was a sight for sore eyes -- at the stand with Pug1Off mods:

Piggy!

'twas great to finally meet and greet Mr and Mrs Piggy Power, whose youtube channel I discovered years ago by looking for some 206 info;)

And through his diesel passion, I've subsequently stumbled upon this great series:)

One jacket potato and an ice cream later, it was eventually time to go home and slap those L-plates back on:)

Thanks Andrew for the passenger hill climb ride, we had great times and weather that Sunday!
Hope to have my project car for next year; and remember in two years time it will be the 25th anniversary for the 206! Cavalcade much?;)

Excellent stuff!

Cheers for posting and for being there Sim!
It's always priceless for me to see the pics and get some news, I've never managed to attend one all these years.

'Some stunningly nice 206s there. (it must be love..)

Smile
