Headlight plugs

#1: Headlight plugs Author: W8omg PostPosted: Tue Mar 24, 2026 11:38 pm

For my mot I'm told that hid aren't allowed anymore, so i need to revert to stock.

The problem is that the fitter cut off my headlight plugs when he fitted the hid ones.

Can i buy these plugs with some wire from somewhere to reattach them?

Does anyone here have them?

You used to be able to buy the plugs & terminals from Peugeot / Citroen dealers, no idea if you still can or what part numbers would be required.

Which headlamps do you have to refit to your 206?

There's a black plug for H4 frosted headlamps OR a grey plug for the twin H7 clear headlamps.

Obviously you need the correct plug colour that matches the socket on the headlamps your going to refit.

Also - Some 2002 & 2003 built 206 ( just before the phase 2 facelift ) can have both colour type headlamp plugs on the loom, the unused plug was usually clipped / tied up near the headlamp area.

My old 03 plate 206 did as it left the factory with frosted H4 headlamps with black connector plug but it also had the grey connector plug on the loom for the twin H7 clear headlamps.
