What I did when I got the splitter cut all the connectors off so that the top of the splitter is flat. Then use mole grips to hold it in place. Once your happy its centre use self tapping screws starting from the centre to the edges then use a hacksaw to cut level with the bumper. job done Very Happy

I liked this so much I ordered mine today! One quick question, what sort of self tappers do I need (size, material, etc)? Sweet mod and makes a lot of a difference to the front of the car.

Very Happy The screws I used were one's my dad had in his van. but need be to be around half an inch in length so they fit through the splitter and bumper and I used about 10 -12 and its solid Very Happy

[quote="PUG1981"]All,

After seeing on here and other forums the different types of splitters people fitted I choose the Seat Leon Cupra R. Got it brand new from Seat for £24.18 Smile

and 15 mins later this is what it looks like, I know its nothing new but I do like them as it's looks original

Looks well mate, do you have a part number for splitter or did u just ask for a cupra r splitter? sounds cheap to me also as people are selling on ebay for more than that?
