Me and Howey borrowed some money off my lovely mummy to buy a new project Very Happy

It's a 1991 (year i was born) 205 1.6GTI in white.
It's been in a small accident and needs a new bumper, indicator, plastic arch trim and a bit of rust which needs a plate welding on to.
Needs it's head gasket doing but still runs.
Needs the repair on the front seat and rear as it has a rip in the fabric

But other than that it is wondeful, Heres a few pictures of the damage and how she looks.

Enjoy Very Happy

Howey gave her a clean:

I think about getting a 205 every now and then but not sure where I'd put it - nice project.

I'd put on the 14" pepperpots that it's supposed to have though

Looks a good project. How bad is the head?

I've seen some dirt cheep 205GTis about recently, but some really pricey ones too. How much did you pay?

Pepperpots are poo and will be on there over my dead body! haha! Razz

It is staying completely standard and the aim is to turn it into a concours vehicle! Wink

Luke: we havent had chance to inspect the head yet and we paid £560 for it including brand new unfitted clutch and oil filter. It also has a fair amount of service history too! Only failing on washerjets in october Very Happy
