Before this site went down i had a problem with my car juddering and eventually found out what was causing it so here is what i did to sort it out

If you have any of the problems below then give this a try

My car was doing a number of things:
Juddering as if the car was going to stall
Loss of power
Not starting up straight away
Loud shocking noise coming from underneath the bonnet

What to do

What i did was look under my bonnet and i could see a jolt of electricity jumping from my coil pack to my engine rocker cover. So i tried spraying wd40 on the coil pack which did get rid of the jolt of electricity for a while but the car still continued to judder.

I then decided to try and change the coil pack but after seeing prices from peugeot i decided against it and had a research on what to do.

Citreon saxo's and Peugeot 206's both share the same coil pack so i went down to my local scrapyard and picked up a coil pack for only £15! Tried it there and then and the jolt had gone and the car sounded right again

I took the car for a drive and to this day its been perfectly fine

Hope this helps any of you with the common juddering problem

Any comments welcome
