Anyway, after a successful Karting meet last year I was wondering if anyone would be up for another one in the summer.
Again, sort of in the middle of the England, the venue would be at Leicester again but a different circuit so its abit fairer
Iv found Stretton circuit. We only got 9 drivers last time, maybe because £50 was quite expensive so im thinking of just a 30min arrive and drive at £35each for 10people which should be just as fun! They have 390cc karts up to 55mph! www.stretton2000.com/a...ndrive.htm
Of course, people coming to watch are more than welcome like lasttime, we went to the pub after which was fun (except for getting chased by a wasp/bee )
This is just a pure interest thread at the moment so I can get an idea on numbers. If more than 10 want to drive then ill have to check other places. Probably would be booked for after FCS, when the weathers better.

Ace, yeh Geoff me too, was looking at Whilton in Daventry which is an epic circuit, my 2nd favourite and iv been on a few! Shame they only do weekdays as I dont think many people on here could do that.

Probably have to do a proper sprint or mini grand prix like lasttime which will cost around £45-£55 depending on circuit.

Nope... to light! The track we were visiting had it as a grid option. Plus it was a group idea to try and slow me down! Still managed to win with a 30second lead

It doesn't really matter if you have never been karting before. In someways its more similar to being on a playstation than being in a car. Plus your confidence grows quite quickly once you find what you can do with the karts.

I'm 16 I'v drove a Merc A Class off road and got the hang off it incredibly quick. In the 30 mins that I was driving it, we managed to do emergency stops, parralel and reverse parking as well as roundabouts, normal turns.. (the general stuff)... The instructor was impressed
