Kinda on and off topic, but how much would it be for a set of nimmys to be done like that, and/or is the finish achievable with DIY methods?

It is highly unlikely that you be able to get flips, 50/50 perls or any other translucent colour in a rattle can. Simply for that reason, there very see through and require a huge amount of coats to cover.

Rattle cans usually contain about 20% paint.
