#1: bought this last night Author: pug150, Location: birminghamPosted: Wed Feb 10, 2010 10:24 am ---- just bought this 206 gti last night
its lowerd 50mm has full service history sounds great drives mint tax and mot. I already own one some of you may know its the moonstone blue one below
The plan is to take all the bits, like angeleyes, l.e.d rear lights, clear fog light, dtm mirrors, and the alloys from the blue one and put them on the red one, Then sell the blue one cheap with all the standerd bits on! reason being it has a few dinks and scratches on it the seats are worn and a bit shabby i got the red one cheap enough and its a nice straight clean car. Will fit all the parts the weekend and uplaod the pics to show you all how it looks i think itl look smart just a pain as changing that lower sp grille is a mission lol
Just fitted the rear l.e.d lights and the clear fog light
just noticed its got an after market exhaust sounds good aswell lol
still to do is the front lower sp grille the l.e.d side repeaters the alloys and the wind deflectors oh and my sp petrol cap Last edited by pug150 on Thu Feb 11, 2010 11:14 am; edited 1 time in total

#14: Re: bought this last night Author: Luke, Location: LeedsPosted: Wed Feb 10, 2010 10:50 am ---- Looks like a nice car. I spy a splitter on it (which one?), so maybe the PO has swapped from modded to standard too.
Think I prefer the nimrods over the other alloys.
#15: Re: bought this last night Author: dalegt, Location: West YorkshirePosted: Wed Feb 10, 2010 10:54 am ---- id keep the red one as it is mate, i think it looks better than your moonstone one, just sell the moonstone one as it is

#21: Re: bought this last night Author: Ross, Location: West MidlandsPosted: Wed Feb 10, 2010 2:10 pm ---- The red one looks nice as it is TBH, better than the Moonstone one. Although when you swap the mods over I'll prefer the Moonstone one lol, so yeah, I don't like the mods personally.

#23: Re: bought this last night Author: Lecktorious, Location: ScotlandPosted: Wed Feb 10, 2010 2:48 pm ---- Or sell the mods and buy the replacement parts cheap leaving the Diablo Red one as it is.
Have to say I prefer the standard Diablo Red GTi over your Manstone Blue GTi...

That parking looks like a tight squeeze in the first couple of pics!
#33: Re: from this to this!!! modded! Author: AJS, Location: ScotlandPosted: Sat Feb 13, 2010 10:57 am ---- Are you taking the arches off the moonstone one or just leaving them?

#41: Re: from this to this!!! modded! Author: navyraffles, Location: PlymouthPosted: Sat Feb 13, 2010 12:21 pm ---- out of interest mate...
plenty of people have said the light output from angel eyes is pretty crap - looks like yours are sort of crystal angel eyes though - does that give them some sort of reflective capabililty, making light output alot better?
and if you're defo getting rid of them, pm me with a price mate...
think you're right though to change the rear LED's, but car does look nice mine's sat on nimrods now - any idea how much yours is lowered on them? looks alot better.
#42: Re: from this to this!!! modded! Author: Ellis1612, Location: St.NeotsPosted: Sat Feb 13, 2010 12:25 pm ---- Looks nice Very nice

#47: how it all started!! Author: pug150, Location: birminghamPosted: Fri Apr 02, 2010 11:26 am ---- Heres how my gti came about and turned out well so far anyway still some more things to get but hey!
before the sight went down i had a moonstone gti
but decided to sell this when the sight came back on air as it was full of little dents and scratches i did get it for 900quid so cant grumble! While it was up forsale i was offered my diablo red gti for £1200 he did want 1500 but got him down a little!
It came with the lower splitter and lowered 50mm plus the nimrods and a stainless exhaust system which sounds mint,
Then i added the lower sp grille from my old gti and my angeleyes and rear l.e.d lights
Then to follow was a set of 180 front and rear seats
And a cc'd centre console which i did myself very chuffed i was And the bt pioneer bluetooth headunit which ive had for bout a year now
next up was a slight change in the rear l.e.ds i thought they were more black when i saw them on ebay but thats ebay for you lol
Then the sub and amps its an old sub but 1200 watts of deep bass cant complain
Then i started on the nimrods first a red lip
Then i decided to go matt black and red
Next up i got the sp bonnet vent and l.e.d side repeaters
so i dont think ive done to bad in the couple of months ive owned it still a few more things to come like darker rear lights and black angeleyes or morretts i did get some morretts but it turned out they were rip off ones
Hope you all like it nearly forgot its fitted with windeflectors aswell. This is how it stands todate!
