going to r-tec for my cat back £290 all in
Not too much diff in price. Mine was £279 inc vat and fitting.
But at least you would get the car back in the same day, rather than having to leave it there for a few days.

Yeah £279 for a stainless steel cat back and back box.

Nicely done with the option of different tail pipes which they can weld there and then to the system. Again, about sub £300 bracket.

I would say yes, but I haven't had it on a rolling road yet. It definitely feels quicker, acceleration has improved and feels nippier.

#112: Re: Sneakys Sport - Updated + Pics 01/09/10 pic heavy Author: Danw_VVT, Location: Herts/LondonPosted: Tue Sep 07, 2010 8:55 am ---- his center console is done in iron met grey but i think he was gonna try wrapping a spare
#113: Re: Sneakys Sport - Updated + Pics 01/09/10 pic heavy Author: Lowercase, Location: East SussexPosted: Tue Sep 07, 2010 9:58 am ---- yea im part way through doing a spare centre console, i basicaly finished one part, but wasnt paying attention and applied a bit to much heat and melted a bit of the pattern off, so after that balls up i started it again. the centre console is really hard to do so im taking my time on it this time.
if i sod it up again then ill give up on that bit, and try something a bit more creative thinking of doing some vintage tattoo inspired filigree with a stencil and stuff, and maybe carry the theme onto the rocker cover etc, in a mix of satin black with gloss black art work on, make it quite subtle and classy like. and if that looks good then ill carry it onto the amp in the boot too maybe, who knows...
(just a little fact-oid - i used to be really into art and graffiti, i went to art college and everything but dropped out of the course when my teachers killed all passion i had for it... so, car modding is my new medium
stay tuned i guess
and just a quick thank you for all the interest and comments this thread seems to get, i know its not a hyper tuned pocket rocket like most the big rollers on this forum, but i do like coming back to it and seeing people asking/pming me questions about how i did this and that etc. very motivating, so cheers!

Nice exhaust, clean sound no noticible difference to a stock exhaust.

I like the sound of that, I've always preferred subtle mods, where you can see someone has put a bit of thought into it rather than bolt on a spoiler.

That's a real pity, the establishment have always frowned upon anything vaguely non-conformist. I've been aerosol artist since the 80's - genuine old school - keep your spirit alive, don't let others beat the enthusiasm or passion out of you!
Moving your passion to another thing is better than giving up completely, good for you!
